“Feedback that we received from customers indicated that they wanted a high visibility option for the sliding rail anchor, now they will have two options to choose from either a high visibility red or orange,” said Norm Desjardins president and founder of Norguard Industries. “This product was designed and patented specifically for railroad bridge personnel. It addresses fall protection needs while enabling mobility to travel up and down the line,” said Desjardins. The SRA is as relevant today as fifteen years ago and has been adopted by many companies worldwide. Its simple design allows for quick and easy installation, it is light-weight and made of stainless steel for longevity and durability.
In addition to the SRA, Norguard Industries offers its Uni-Anchor system for bridge work and rescue also designed specifically for railroad personnel. “This system is an easy sell because it truly sells itself. The Uni-Anchor system installs in minutes without any tools. It is rated for 600lbs capacity two man rescue has a 360 degree rotation and can be used with existing fall protection and rescue products,” added Desjardins.
